Position/Term: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Suncor MacKay River, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; 10-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
Operate truck mounted hydraulic hoisting devices, highway tractor trailer combinations, roll off truck pup trailer combinations, lugger, roll off as required.
Complete multiple short trips per day with frequent loading and unloading.
Inspect bins, report on condition and functionality or defects.
Conduct precise Commercial Vehicle Inspections - documenting and reporting any deficiencies immediately to immediate supervisor.
Speak with customers to resolve minor customer concerns and refer customer complaints or questions to foreperson or the operations supervisor.
Ensure that all (waste) bins are emptied and returned in a safe and timely manner and report any discrepancies that may occur.
Other duties as assigned that fulfill the demands of the role.
What does Acden need from me?
Valid Class One (1) driver's license is required.
Minimum of three (3) years of commercial driving experience is required.
A driver’s abstract that demonstrates a pattern of safe and compliant driving behaviour is required.
Successfully completing a driver’s evaluation on a Class One (1) vehicle is required.
Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO); or OSSA BSO Certificate, or a combination of CSTS-09 and OSSA Regional certificates are required.
Eligibility to work at all Oil Sand sites within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is required.
Successfully obtain clearance on mandatory pre-employment drug, alcohol, hearing and physical abilities testing is required; this role is designated as safety-sensitive.
Have a “safety-first” attitude is required.
Physically fit to perform all necessary duties of the job.
What are the "nice to haves"?
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) experience is an asset.
Site experience is considered an asset.
