Position/Term: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8AM to 4:30PM

What I will be doing?
Install, maintain and repair Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners and ventilation units and associated controls.
Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics and preventive maintenance and building automation systems.
Monitor and adjust building automation systems to optimize climate control and energy efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used and system performance using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program.
Respond to service requests and troubleshoot HVAC and mechanical system failures.
Perform seasonal grounds maintenance as required, including snow removal, ice control, lawn care and landscaping.
Perform duties as required to support complete facilities operations and maintenance.
What does Acden need from me?
Alberta Certified Journeyperson or Interprovincial Red Seal in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade in good standing is required.
Minimum 5 years of Journeyperson or Red Seal experience in commercial or institutional HVAC settings.
Alberta Gasfitter “B” Ticket required.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s licence required.
Skid steer loader certification with minimum 2 years of experience in equipment operation.
Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
Physically fit to perform duties involving walking, climbing, lifting and working in awkward positions.
What are the "nice to haves"?
Gasfitter “A” Ticket considered an asset.
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Certification is considered an asset.
Experience operating grounds maintenance equipment such as skid steers, blowers, salt spreaders, shovels, lawn mowers and trimmers.
