Position/Term: Temporary Local Position (Summer Student)
Location: Acden Headquarters, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off; 8-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
Provide event management support to all Acden entities under the guidance of Acden’s Community Relations Advisor
Coordinate logistics for internal employee engagement events that support the development of Acden’s corporate culture
Assist with executing and evaluating corporate community projects (including coordinating resources and managing timelines)
Coordinate set up and tear down of internal/external events as required
Assist Acden’s Communications Advisor on the development of video and photography campaigns including, but not limited to: assisting with video/photo shoots, interviewing employees for campaigns, set up and tear down
Assist with opportunities to provide support to the ACFN community through event support
Assist with populating Acden website and social media accounts under the direction of Acden’s Communications Manager
Attend various community events, conferences, and other functions as required as a representative of Acden
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
What does Acden need from me?
Pursuing post-secondary education in Communication, Business Administration, Journalism, Public Relations, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field
Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s license
Able to work independently, self-starter
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, and other related software
Outstanding interpersonal skills
