Senior Business Development Advisor
Term: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Acden Headquarters, 220 Taiganova Crescent, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

What I will be doing?
- Creating long-term value for Acden from clients, partners, markets, and relationships
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key industry and site-based operations decision-makers and leaders
- Exploring new partnerships, supporting the prequalification stages, and business development opportunities, and communicating recommendations to the Business Development Leaders
- Exploring and coordinating available grants to support wholly owned businesses
- Attending, engaging, and hosting networking events, conferences, workshops and other various events in Fort McMurray and other determined or required locations
- Stewarding to and supporting Acden’s strategic goals and vision; creating supporting strategic plans and roadmaps for wholly owned companies and corporate initiatives
What does Acden need from me?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or relevant discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of business development experience required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, and other related software
- Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills
- Excellent skills in teamwork, leadership and communication
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Ability to build rapport and professional relationships
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and reasoning abilities
- Ability to work efficiently on simultaneous assignments under tight deadlines with no supervision
- Professional self-starter, high level of motivation, client empathy and ethics
- Demonstrated success in building trust and maintaining long-term relationships
- Ability to collect and analyze data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations
- Results driven individual

- Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is considered an asset
