Position: Permanent / Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: CNUL Albian, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; 10-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
Operate hydraulic hoisting and various truck types like roll-off and front-load.
Complete multiple short-haul routes with frequent loading/unloading.
Maneuver safely in tight or congested areas.
Maintain clean worksites and dispose of debris properly.
Inspect bins and report defects.
Conduct vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
Communicate with dispatch on delays, safety concerns, and equipment issues.
Handle minor customer concerns; escalate when needed.
Ensure bins are emptied, returned safely, and discrepancies reported.
Perform other duties as assigned to support customer service.
What does Acden need from me?
A Valid Class One (1) license or a Valid Class Three (3) license with Airbrake endorsement is required with a clean driver's abstract.
Minimum of three (3) years of commercial driving experience is required.
Successfully completing a driver’s evaluation on a manual 18-speed Class One (1)/ Class Three (3) vehicle is required.
Must be eligible to acquire access to all Acden client sites as required by the position.
Ability to log Hours of Service as they pertain to the Province of Alberta’s Drivers Hours of Service Regulations.
Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO), or BSO certificate, or a combination of CSTS & OSSA is required.
Ability to obtain clearance on drug, alcohol, hearing, and physical abilities pre-employment testing is required; this role is designated as safety sensitive.
Must be able to pass the physical demands that are set forth to perform the duties of a Class 1/3 Operator which may include but not limited to bending, twisting, standing, walking, sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and push/pull heavy objects.
What are the "nice to haves"?
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) experience is an asset.
Site experience is considered an asset.
Load Securement experience in accordance with Alberta Load Securement practices is a strong asset to the position.
