Position/Term: Permanent (Camp/FIFO)
Location: Cenovus Sunrise, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off; 12-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Operate light-duty pickup, lugger, roll-off, and front-load trucks as required.
- Operate heavy equipment like excavator, loader, and skid steer as required.
- Conduct toolbox and site safety meetings when required.
- Communicate with site contacts and dispatch operators accordingly.
- Ensure all necessary training, including operations and safety, is completed and remains current.
- Adhere to the HSEQ incident reporting protocol.
- Inspect waste to ensure compliance with the prepared Waste Disposal Permit and with the client’s procedures for all waste streams.
- Complete a monthly bin count and maintain a working knowledge of all bins on site
- Conduct Worksite Observations (WSOs), site inspections, etc., to meet Acden Environment KPIs.
- Order Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), parts and other consumables and ensure PPE is utilized as required.
- Work closely with clients to establish a good working relationship, receive timely feedback utilizing Service Control Report (SCR).
What does Acden need from me?
- Valid Class One (1) or minimum Class Three (3) driver's licence is required.
- Minimum three (3) years of professional driving experience is required.
- Ability to successfully complete a driver's evaluation in Fort McMurray, Alberta is required.
- Valid SWANA Landfill Operations Basics (LOB) designation is required.
- Must maintain the ability to access all Acden's client sites.
- Ability to obtain clearance on drug, alcohol, hearing, and physical abilities pre-employment testing is required; this role is designated as safety sensitive.
- Minimum one (1) year of previous Acden work experience is an asset.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification is an asset.
- Computer skills, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc., are an asset.
