This role belongs under Acden Holdings, which oversees critical functions such as Business Development, Marketing, Communications, Sales, HR, HSE&Q, IT, Contracts, Finance, and Maintenance.
In this role you would be primarily supporting Acden Environment. Acden Environment is the largest non-hazardous waste company in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. With over 30 years of experience, we continue to provide customized, high quality and cost-effective environmental solutions for industrial and commercial businesses alike. As we continue our growth trajectory into the Greater Edmonton area, we are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and driven individual to join our Sales team as a Sales Account Representative.
Position/Term: Permanent
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8hr days; with schedule flexibility for coverage of after-hour events.

What I will be doing?
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Support company-aligned sales plans, identify and pursue new opportunities, and drive revenue in commercial, industrial, and construction sectors.
- Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and grow relationships with key customers and scrap metal clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring positive experiences.
- Sales Operations and Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams, contribute to marketing efforts, and manage both new and existing customer accounts through the CRM system.
- Market Awareness and Improvement: Maintain a strong understanding of the scrap metal market, attend relevant events, and recommend process improvements.
- Compliance and Performance Monitoring: Adhere to ISO standards, track and report sales metrics, identify non-conformances, and refine strategies based on performance analysis.
What does Acden need from me?
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience with a proven track record.

Experience in waste, recycling, or scrap metal services.

Knowledge of Indigenous history, culture, protocols, and governance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean abstract.
- Strong communication, time management, and data analysis skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What are the "nice to haves"? (add assets/preferences)
- Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education.
- Knowledge of CRM software platforms;
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Experience working with Indigenous organizations and communities.
