Position/Term: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: 220 Taiganova Cres, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off; Monday-Friday; 8-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Internal Communications
- Developing, leading, and implementing comprehensive internal communications strategies in collaboration with the Communications Manager
- Leading communication audits, building strategic plans, and ensuring successful integration and execution across various channels
- Developing, leading, and implementing comprehensive internal communications strategies in collaboration with the Communications Manager
- External Communications
- Developing compelling stories for diverse audiences - including employees, the general public, clients, and Acden's owners, Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation - highlighting company successes, challenges, and essential messages
- Creating content for internal channels and external platforms, including corporate newsletters, email announcements, and the company website
What does Acden need from me?
- Degree in Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field with 5 years of work experience in communication
OR
- Diploma in Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, Public Relations or related field with 7 years of work experience in communications
- Proven experience developing strategic communications plans and executing them successfully
- Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editorial skills with a knack for engaging diverse audiences
- Strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Journalism experience is an asset
