Position/Term: Permanent/(Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Work Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; 10-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Maintain waste services through collection and transportation of waste and equipment.
- Operate a roll-off truck and a loader with a rotator attachment.
- Complete thorough Commercial Vehicle Inspections, including documenting and reporting deficiencies promptly to the immediate supervisor.
- Inspect the condition of waste bins, report defects, and monitor condition and functionality.
- Notify dispatch of delays, unsafe work sites, incidents, equipment breakdowns and/or maintenance or operation concerns.
- Ensure all waste services are completed in a safe and timely manner.
- Address and resolve minor client concerns and refer client complaints and questions to Leadership.
What does Acden need from me?
- Valid Class One (1) Operator’s License is required.
- Three (3) or more years of professional truck driving experience adhering to the Alberta Provincial hours of service is required.
- Successfully completing a driver’s evaluation on a manual 18- speed Class One (1) vehicle is required.
- Eligibility to work on all Acden client sites is required.
- Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO); or BSO certificate, or a combination of CSTS & OSSA is required.
- Ability to obtain clearance on drug, alcohol, hearing, and physical abilities pre-employment testing is required; this role is designated as safety sensitive.
What are the 'nice to haves'?
- Experience with manual transmission and previous roll-off experience is an asset.
- Load securement experience as per the Alberta Provincial Hours of Service Regulations is an asset.
