Position/Term: Temporary (March 2025 to June 2025)/ Fly-in, Fly-out and Camp provided for non-locals
Location: IOL Kearl, Alberta
Work Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off; 12-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Lead and motivate employees, ensuring they are fit for duty.
- Supervise daily tasks, including updating driver schedules and addressing routing concerns.
- Conduct worksite inspections, including vehicle inspections and hazard identification.
- Communicate with clients and review services for improvements.
- Support employees with administrative and relational matters.
- Escort employees for drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Operate equipment like roll-off trucks, forklifts, and material handlers.
- Coordinate site orientations, training, and ensure adherence to policies.
- Review operator paperwork for compliance with company and client requirements.
- Manage employee performance and conduct reviews.
- Lead meetings, including safety and performance reviews.
What does Acden need from me?
- Minimum Class 3 license with airbrake endorsement (or completion by a set date).
- Minimum 3 -Years of Leadership and supervisory experience.
- Clean 5-year Commercial Driver’s Abstract.
- Valid CSO or similar safety certifications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Ability to meet physical demands (lifting, carrying, bending, sitting, etc.).
What are the "nice to haves":
- Safety-focused with attention to detail, adaptable to environmental conditions and stress.
- Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Airbrake endorsement and 3 years of driving experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance.
- Experience in waste management or related industries.
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
