Position/Term: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Sherwood Park, Alberta
Work Schedule: 8 days on, 2 days off; 8-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Reception duties including answering phones, emails, greeting customers / suppliers, supporting shipping & receiving, and ordering office/shop supplies for all locations within the business.
- Input LEMs into charges “flat” spreadsheet and swipe deviations into SAP reporting system to support on-site teams.
- Assist and support with collecting and accurately entering KPI information for the business, reporting them monthly.
- Log inventory and track throughput efficiencies; report quality requirements to clients as needed.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties, completion of documentation and tracking, including coordinating logistical transportation needs when necessary.
- Prepare Oil Sand Division Accounts Receivable invoices and assist with AR collection follow up.
- Issue and track PO’s and review customer PO values, tracking % spend.
- Assist with monthly compilation of employee visa/expense reports.
- Oversee entry of charges in SAP system and reconcile to the accounting system.
What does Acden need from me?
- A Certificate in Business, Office Administration, or related field is required.
- Five (5) years of experience in accounting role, or similar transferrable experience is required.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a fast-paced clerical setting is required.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and 5-year abstract demonstrating pattern of save driving behaviour is a requirement.
- Highly developed communication skills, including verbal and written skills is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, SAP, and Sage) is required. Must complete excel test with a score of 75% or higher.
- High attention to detail and accuracy and takes ownership to prevent errors is required.
What are the "nice to haves"?
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills is preferred.
- Experience in all aspects of supplier relationship management is an asset
- Strong understanding of customers within in the oil sands region is an asset.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and have the ability to work independently is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including conflict management & strong team player skills is an asset.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills is an asset
