Position/Term: Permanent (potential upcoming work opportunities)/ Local Position (Camp/FIFO)
Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 7/7 or 14/14

What I will be doing?
- Maintain waste services through collection and transportation of waste and equipment
- Operate roll off truck and a loader with rotator attachment
- Complete thorough Commercial Vehicle Inspections, including documenting and reporting deficiencies promptly to immediate supervisor
- Inspect condition of waste bins, report defects, and monitor condition and functionality
- Notify dispatch of delays, unsafe work sites, incidents, equipment breakdowns and/or maintenance or operation concerns
- Ensure all waste services are completed in a safe and timely manner
- Address and resolve minor client concerns and refer client complaints and questions to Leadership
What does Acden need from me?
- Valid Class 1 or 3 Operator’s License with airbrake endorsement is required
- Three (3) or more years of professional truck driving experience adhering to the Alberta Provincial hours of service is required
- Successfully complete a driver’s evaluation on a manual 18- speed Class 1/3 vehicle is required
- Eligible to work on all Acden client sites is required
- Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO); or BSO certificate, or a combination of CSTS & OSSA is required
- Ability to obtain clearance on drug, alcohol, hearing, and physical abilities pre-employment testing is required; this role is designated as safety- sensitive
What are the 'nice to haves'?
- Experience with manual transmission and previous Roll Off experience is an asset
- Load securement experience as per the Alberta Provincial Hours of Service Regulations is an asset
