Position Title: Senior Human Resources Advisor
Role Type: Permanent, Local, In-Office Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO, No Remote or WFH Options)
Location: 220 Taiganova Crescent, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hour days.

What I will be doing?
Partner with business leaders and guide HR Advisors and Generalists on employee, leadership, performance, talent, career, and succession planning.
Provide practical HR advice to management and employees while supporting clear, ethical, and transparent working relationships.
Develop, implement, monitor, and improve HR policies, procedures, programs, and guidelines in line with relevant legislation and best practices.
Lead and support HR initiatives, corporate program reviews, research, and special projects that respond to business needs.
Coordinate employee changes and collaborate with Finance, Payroll, Business Development, IT, Contracts, and HSEQ.
Support the full recruitment cycle, workforce planning, company-wide HR reporting, and RFP completion.
Coordinate the HR business plan, oversee departmental processes with the HR Manager, and provide HR leadership coverage when required.
Complete various other tasks that support a full-service HR Department.
What does Acden need from me?
2-year Diploma in Human Resources, and 4 years of dedicated HR Advisor/Business Partner experience. Equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered.
8 years of experience in a Human Resources department.
High level of professionalism and strong written and verbal communication skills is required.
Experience with M365 ecosystem is required.
Valid Class Five (5) Driver's Licence and abstract that demonstrates pattern of safe driving behaviour is required.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.
High attention to detail; Candidates will be required to complete an intensive skills assessment—designed to rigorously evaluate advanced Excel proficiency, high-level logical reasoning, and exceptional attention to detail—with a 90% cumulative score needed to pass.
What are the "nice to haves"?
Experience with M365 Power Platform.
Bachelor's Degree with major in Human Resources.
