Position Title: Labourer
Role Type: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; 12-hour day shifts (Potential to be switched to night shifts when required)

What I will be doing?
Complete general shop/front office/yard cleaning duties as assigned on a daily basis.
Inspect equipment and maintain accurate and clear records.
Operate a variety of equipment i.e. Forklift/Pressure Washer/Overhead Crane etc.
Maintain and upkeep general grounds i.e. Mowing/Shoveling etc.
Complete deliveries and pick ups as assigned.
Perform other duties and assistance as required by Supervisor.
What does Acden need from me?
Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence with a clean abstract is required.
Ability to proficiently read and write English is required.
Ability to obtain clearance on drug, alcohol, hearing, and physical abilities pre-employment testing is required; this role is designated as safety sensitive.
Ability to work night shifts due to operational needs is required.
Self-starting with ability to work independently and work well with others in a team setting.
Physically fit to perform all duties of the position (including extensive walking, climbing, crouching, bending, and carrying of heavy materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.)
What are the "nice to haves"?
Experience operating forklift, loader, overhead crane and Mobile Elevating Work Platform are preferred.
Experience in sand blasting and painting are preferred.
Valid First Aid, Fall Arrest and overhead crane tickets are preferred.
