Position Title: Accounts & Operations Coordinator
Role Type: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Taiganova, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off; 8-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
Coordinate dispatch operations, service requests, operator scheduling, route planning, and fleet maintenance to ensure efficient service delivery.
Support equipment repairs, service requirements, and operational compliance with company, client, contractual, and regulatory standards.
Maintain customer contracts, service agreements, and operational records using dispatch, TRUX, and Salesforce systems.
Serve as the primary contact between clients, operations, subcontractors, and internal teams, resolving issues and maintaining strong client relationships.
Support business development through quote follow-ups, customer service, and revenue growth initiatives.
Manage operational documentation, including landfill tickets, bills of lading, purchase orders, and related records, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Process accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, billing, collections support, and account verification.
Assist with payroll records, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end/year-end accounting activities.
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, control costs, optimize resources, and improve customer satisfaction.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, safety standards, attend meetings, and perform other duties as required.
What does Acden need from me?
Business/Office Administration Diploma or a combination of relevant education and equivalent work experience is required.
Two (2) years' experience in accounts payable/receivable is required.
One (1) – two (2) years’ experience in dispatching, preferably within the waste management or transportation industry is required.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 ecosystem including; SharePoint, Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, Forms, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
Ability to evaluate Microsoft 365 capabilities, AI-enabled tools, Copilot and other emerging technologies pertaining to the Human Resources industry while considering privacy, security, governance, and business requirements.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Positive, reliable team player with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What are the "nice to haves"?
Experience in SAP Fieldglass, TRUX, Maximo and Open Invoice is an asset.
