Position Title: Contract Specialist
Role Type: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: 220 Taiganova Crescent, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
Administer contracts across the full lifecycle, including execution, amendments, renewals, extensions, and close-out activities.
Draft, review, and coordinate contracts, agreements, and related commercial documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Review contractual terms and support negotiations to ensure alignment with business objectives and risk considerations.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with client contract leads and supply chain management (SCM) networks.
Facilitate contract execution and distribution, while tracking obligations, key terms, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance.
Coordinate proposal development, including documentation, version control, contributor inputs, approvals, and final submission packaging, in collaboration with Business Development.
Maintain document control standards and prepare regular reporting on contract and proposal activities for internal stakeholders.
What does Acden need from me?
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management in the oil sands is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration, contract negotiation, proposal development, and commercial support is required.
Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
Effective communication and presentation skills are required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
What are the "nice to haves"?
Post-Secondary education such as diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or relevant discipline is an asset.
Experience utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software is an asset.
