Position Title: Temporary Operations Supervisor

Role Type: Temporary Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)

Temp Term Dates: temporary to October 31, 2026

Location: Syncrude, Fort McMurray, Alberta

Work Schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off; 10-hour shifts

What I will be doing?

• Ensure all employees are fit for duty.

• Task Foreman/Foreperson with daily responsibilities and duties as required.

• Observe truck operator’s conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Conduct worksite observations with employees.

• Communicate with Acden Environment LP. clients and review all services for continuous improvements.

• Attend administrative and sensitive needs of employees as required.

• Reporting as required.

• Dispatching duties.

• Operator scheduling duties.

• Payroll entry and data submissions.

• Weekly near-miss reporting.

• Managing equipment servicing.

• Auditing bin inventories.

• Completing Workforce hours reports.

What does Acden need from me? 

• Previous supervisory experience is required

• Minimum Class Three (3) licence is required, or an expected completion of a Class Three licence by a specific date, set forth by senior manager.

• Clean Drivers Abstract is required

• Must have access to all Acden client sites as required by the position

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite

• Valid OSSA Oil Sands, CSTS-09 or OSSA BSO or CSO Certificate

What are the "nice to haves"? 

• Previous professional driving experience is considered a strong asset
