Position: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: 220 Taiganova Crescent, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
Leads the full sales cycle for Acden’s wholly owned companies in Fort McMurray, across commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial sectors.
Grows professional networks and maintains strong, lasting client relationships.
Supports the development and implementation of sales strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Identifies and targets new business opportunities and potential customers within the region through networking, cold-calling, and research.
Drives revenue growth by closing sales in the commercial, industrial, and construction sectors.
Continuously monitors and evaluates sales performance metrics to assess progress and refine sales strategies accordingly.
Travels to client locations, strategic industry conferences, and other events as required and approved by the Business Development Manager or designate.
Addresses customer concerns and inquiries promptly, providing solutions and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Creates new quotes and Service Agreements and maintains existing accounts.
Conducts service-related presentations and demonstrations that showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.
Provides accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software system.
What does Acden need from me?
Experience and strong understanding of the Fort McMurray market and local business economy.
Minimum of 5 years experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, with a proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Demonstrates strong initiative, a high level of self-motivation, and a results-driven mindset to proactively achieve goals.
Valid Class Five (5) Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collect and analyze data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations.
Results driven individual.
What are the "nice to haves"?
Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education is an asset.
Experience working with Indigenous organizations and communities is considered is an asset.
Knowledge of CRM software platforms; experience with Salesforce is considered an asset.
Knowledge of Indigenous history, culture, protocols, and governance.
