Position/Term: Permanent/ FIFO Position; Camp and Flights provided from Calgary and Edmonton hubs
Location: IOL Kearl, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off; 12-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
Provide positive and proactive leadership in all aspects of managing.
Lead the operations team in establishing client service levels, performance standards, accuracy and productivity.
Directly collaborate with the client operations to identify opportunity for efficiencies, increased productivity, reduction of costs and optimization.
Ensure compliance and performance of all policies and guidelines.
Oversee the development of direct reports by providing appropriate training opportunities, coaching and/or mentorship in line with the succession plan.
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment standards regulations, Acden corporate and client policies, health safety and environments procedures and processes and International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001:2015 Quality Policy and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Policy Manual.
What does Acden need from me?
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree is required.
Diploma in project management with 6 years’ experience in a leadership role OR; 8 years’ experience in a leadership role.
Strategic thinking capable of identifying and achieving KPI’s that improve efficiencies, productivity, optimization and manages costs.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop internal and external relationships at all levels.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required.
Energy Safety Canada’s CSO is required; OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO) or a combination of OSSA Regional Orientation and CSTS-09 can be substituted.
Highly developed organizational and written communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to complete all work in compliance with Alberta legislation, regulations and site policies and procedures.
Physically fit to perform all duties of the position including standing and walking for long periods of time, working from heights, visiting confined spaces, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling and squatting.
What are the "nice to haves":
Professional Engineering Designation is an asset.
5 years’ experience in a senior management position within the waste management Industry would be an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Project and Power Point. Experience with Microsoft Project and SAP is an asset.
