Position/Term: Permanent, Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Acden Headquarters, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off; 8-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Develop and maintain professional documents such as Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, flowcharts and PowerPoint presentations.
- Manage and coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
- Assist in project coordination and follow-up on action items.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Support internal communications and ensure timely dissemination of information.
- Provide direct administrative support to the General Manager and supervisors.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
What does Acden need from me?
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in administrative roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
- Experience in calendar management and meeting coordination.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Proven experience in written and verbal communication with senior management.
- Candidates will be required to complete an intensive skills assessment—designed to rigorously evaluate advanced Excel proficiency, high-level logical reasoning, and exceptional attention to detail—with an 90% cumulative score needed to pass.
What are the "nice to haves":
- Knowledge or work experience in waste and recycling services is an asset.
