Position: Temporary Labourer/Operator
Term: Temporary, Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Saprae Creek Facility, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off; 8-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Operate skid steer, wheel loader, aerial work platform and forklift
- Complete work order requests for repairs and services
- Deliver supplies and materials to various sites and work locations
- Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning of tools and equipment
- Clear snow from parking lots, walkways and roof tops (skid steer, loader, and plow truck-sander combination operation)
- Move, modify, adjust, install and repair office furniture and materials
- Remove and install signage using skid steer with attachments and hand tools as required
- Perform grounds care (i.e., smoke urn clean-up, lawn mowing, landscaping, sweeping, garbage removal, etc.)
- Perform wash bay attendant duties: cleaning trucks and equipment when required
- Perform confined space look out, person watch and fire watch duties
- Perform other duties as they arise to fulfill mandate of providing complete facilities maintenance and customer service
- Maintain responsibility to complete daily timesheet/LEM for assigned tasks as well as FLRA and Toolbox review
What does Acden need from me?
- Minimum 5 years of skid steer operating experience is required
- Three years of labouring and equipment operating experience is required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with clean 5-year driver’s abstract is required
- Experience operating a truck and trailer is required
- Ability to work from heights and work in confined spaces is required
- Must be physically fit to perform all duties of the position including extensive walking, climbing, crouching, bending, and carrying of heavy materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to complete and pass a comprehensive pre-employment drug, alcohol, hearing, visual and physical abilities testing is require
What are the "nice to haves"?
- Experience in grounds maintenance is an asset
- Valid skid steer ticket is an asset
- Load Securement Certificate and experience is an asset
- Forklift operating experience and ticket is an asset
- Experience operating a loader and elevated/aerial work platform is an asset
