Position/Term: Permanent / Full-time (Camp/FIFO)
Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off; 12-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Operate truck mounted hydraulic hoisting devices
- Operate highway tractor trailer combinations as well as the roll off truck pup trailer combinations
- Operate lugger, roll off, frontload and flat deck truck with Moffett as required
- Able to operate long haul routes that warrant overnight completion
- Able to complete multiple short trips per day with frequent loading and unloading
- Able to safely maneuver vehicles in congested areas
- Inspect bins, report on condition and functionality or defects
- Conduct precise Commercial Vehicle Inspections and communicate by phone with dispatcher
- Speak with customers to resolve minor customer concerns and refer customer complaints or questions to Foreperson or the Operations Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned that would fulfill the mandate of complete customer service
What does Acden need from me?
- Valid Class One (1) license
- Valid Class Three (3) license with Airbrake endorsement
- Minimum of three (3) years of commercial driving experience is required
- Drivers abstract in good standing
- Have experience with manual transmissions
- Attention to detail
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment
- Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to log Hours of Service as they pertain to the Province of Alberta’s Drivers Hours of Service Regulations
What are the "nice to haves"?
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) experience is an asset
- Site experience is considered an asset
- Load Securement experience in accordance with Alberta Load Securement practices is a strong asset
