Position: Term: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Taiganova Crescent, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; 12-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty on- and off-road equipment.
- Accurately complete work orders and ensure billing aligns with Acden MRM standards.
- Work closely with the Lead Hand to manage service requests and ensure timely job completion.
- Train, support, and mentor apprentices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work performed.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times and attend required safety meetings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service truck and work areas.
- Manage inventory of parts and tools in the service truck.
- Follow ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 procedures, including reporting non-conformances.
- Participate in customer satisfaction efforts and quality assurance processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What does Acden need from me?
- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Technician certification (Red Seal or Alberta Trade Qualification).
- Proven experience in diagnostics and repairs of heavy-duty equipment.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and OH&S guidelines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills.
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job (e.g., lifting, bending, standing, climbing).
- Strong computer literacy, including diagnostic and reporting tools.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Willingness to follow all Acden MRM policies, procedures, and ISO standards.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
What are the "nice to haves"?
- Experience working in a dealership or third-party maintenance environment is preferred.
- Previous customer service or public-facing maintenance experience is preferred.
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Licence with Air Brakes is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 14001 management systems is preferred.
- Previous experience working with Acden MRM or similar operations is an asset.
- Involvement in promoting or supporting customer satisfaction surveys is an asset.
