Position/Term: Permanent- Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Sherwood Park, Alberta
Work Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off; 8-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Ensure all Ultrasonic Technicians follow safety policies and procedures.
- Assign daily work tasks and provide ongoing guidance to employees.
- Develop, oversee, and complete daily work plans.
- Train new employees as directed by the Operations Supervisor.
- Audit pre-shift inspections, cleaning solution sampling, and FLRAs.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and task observations.
- Report safety concerns to the Operations Supervisor.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of timesheets and material tracking sheets.
- Operate and maintain high-pressure water blasting equipment, pressure washers, cranes, forklifts, wastewater treatment systems, and ultrasonic vessels.
- Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on key equipment.
- Oversee vessel mobilization and demobilization.
- Maintain and update client information in PLM software.
- Manage facility maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, including contractor coordination.
- Communicate professionally with clients and vendors.
- Maintain compliance with Alberta regulations and company policies.
- Monitor performance standards, including TRIF rating and KPIs.
- Identify and document non-conformances on SCRs.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
What does Acden need from me?
- High School Diploma
- First Aid Certificate
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Minimum of five years’ supervisory experience
- Hands-on knowledge of Ultrasonic and High-Pressure Waterblasting Equipment
- Mechanical aptitude (ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment)
- Facility operations and maintenance experience
- Physical fitness (ability to lift at least 30 pounds)
- Ability to react effectively in emergencies
- Experience ensuring documentation is processed promptly and accurately
- Strong team-building skills with the ability to work independently
What are the "nice to haves"?
- Proven interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are preferred
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Cross-functional collaboration experience to contribute to business success is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred
- Problem-solving skills—able to review opportunities, issues, and concerns constructively is an asset
- Creativity and innovation in problem-solving and operations are an asset
