Position: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
Location: Acden Mechanical Repair & Maintenance Shop, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; 12-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Ensure all work order job lines are completed accurately as per Acden Mechanical Repair & Maintenance standards.
- Perform all aspects of automotive diagnosis and repair.
- Complete front-end alignments and tire repair.
- Work with, train, and mentor apprentices.
- Work collaboratively in a diverse and dynamic work force.
- Interact with 3rd party customers
- Initiate estimates and maintain accurate reporting and documentation on work performed.
- General Housekeeping: Ensure work areas are clean and maintained.
What does Acden need from me?
- 4th year completion of apprenticeship and either an Alberta Trade qualification Journeyperson or an inter-provincial license in the field of automotive repair is required.
- Valid Class 5 License with a clean driver’s abstract is required. Physically fit to perform all duties of the job including but not limited to heavy lifting, bending, etc., is required.
- Previous experience dealing with general public is required.
- Previous repairs experience working in a dealership is required.
- Computer literate and strong knowledge of computer diagnostics is required.
- Ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce is required.
- Strong technical ability is required.
What are the "nice to haves"? (add assets/preferences)
- Working knowledge of management systems including but not limited to: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 is an asset.
- Commercial Vehicle inspection program experience with a valid CVI license is an asset
- Experience in light truck and 4-wheel drive is an asset.
