Position/Term: Permanent/ Local Position (Non-Camp/Non-FIFO)
This is a hybrid role with both Class 1/3 Operating hours and Working Foreperson hours
Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta
Work Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; 12-hour day shifts

What I will be doing?
- Communicate with site contacts and dispatch operators accordingly.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings.
- Conduct site safety meetings.
- Ensure all employees are properly orientated as required by Acden and the client.
- Ensure all necessary training, including operations and safety are completed and remain current.
- Responsible for responding to all emergency situations involving staff on site such as accidents, spills.
- Closely monitor and track productivity, driver behaviour and demeanor.
- Operate light duty pick up, roll off, frontload trucks, lugger and tractor trailers as needed.
- Responsible for the inspection of waste to ensure compliance with the prepared Waste Disposal Permit and with the client's procedures for all waste streams.
- Adhere to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 in carrying out all operational activities.
- Meets all deadlines as requested by Assistant Operations Manager or designate.
What does Acden need from me?
- Valid Class One (1) or minimum Class Three (3) driver's licence is required.
- Minimum three (3) years of professional driving experience.
- Ability to successfully complete a driver's evaluation in Fort McMurray.
- Maintain complete and thorough understanding of Alberta Environment and Protection Act.
- Have a "safety-first" attitude.
What are the "nice to haves":
- Minimum two (2) years of previous Acden work experience is an asset.
- Maintaining Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification is an asset.
- Valid OSSA Oil Sands, CSTS-09 or OSSA BSO/CSO certification is an asset.
